  • How do I claim?
    Should you or one of your beneficiaries wish to make a claim on your policy, you can contact us by phone or email on 0861 346 246 or
    fc-claims@finchoice.co.za . You will be advised which documents are required to assess your claim.
  • How does the Premium Pay back work?
    When your family puts in a claim on your policy, all your premiums will be paid back to them. For example, if you paid R80 a month for 3 years, R2880 will get paid to your family (that is R80 x 12 x 3), PLUS the pay-out from the policy.
  • What is not covered?
    Anything that is not stated as "covered" in the policy document will therefore not be covered. For example, if the policy does not say that a person is covered for retrenchment, then they will not be able to claim against the policy if they are retrenched. That means that retrenchment is “not covered” under that policy.
  • What is the waiting period?
    The waiting period is the 6-month period after the Funeral Cover first begins where no claims are able to be made on the policy. Accidental death has no waiting period applicable.
  • What are the exclusions?
    Exclusions are events that are not covered by this policy, such as death by suicide or a death by natural causes that takes place within the waiting period (first 6 months)
